About Pitch Bend

This number box specifies how much change in pitch occurs when the MIDI pitch wheel is used. "0" means the pitch wheel is ignored. A "1" means that the pitch is raised or lowered one semitone when displaced to either extreme. A "2" means it is raised or lowered two semitones, etc. A semitone is defined as a function of the (pseudo-octave) and the generator.

By default, pitch bend is controlled using a MIDI pitch wheel. It can also be assigned to a MIDI continuous controller of your choice.
